Oh honey - do yourself a favour - tell the nurse all your fears.
My nurse was wonderful when we had injections for Malaysia (I had to have 3 - urgh).
She managed to do it in such a way that whilst I was busy talking to her she did two of the injections without me even realising. They really didn't hurt at all.
I knew about the third one and actually looked on in morbid fascination as she put the needle in and I felt practically nothing.
It's so easy to work yourself up over these things, but things have moved on a bit since the fascist nurse at school (mine was horrid and would simply stab you ad hoc with a needle - hence my fears about needles too).
Just stay calm and make sure she know's you're nervous so that she doesn't unnerve you.
