In the great scheme of things I think they work out about the same - maybe the vodka is slightly better - on Weight Watchers a small glass of wine and a short are both 1 point. I think the difference is minimal but you might feel better with the short??
I gave up lager when I started dieting and now I love wine spritzers - I could never go back to beer again!
