Don't know if it's quite the same thing, but about 4 years ago I bought a set of pads (look like what they put on sick people in hospital) and they sent what felt like an electric shock through the part of your body you put them on.

They claimed that you could carry on doing housework etc whilst wearing it, but every time the pulse went through my (rather slack) abs it made me jump and I sort of jerked through the house looking like I was some sort of robotic dancer.

Didn't see any change, but felt better for the 'exercise'
