Do your own thing - it's YOUR day, not your family's. Please be firm - you have to look back on this day for the rest of your life - it's not your job to keep the peace, if people don't like it, sod them! Sorry if this sounds harsh but, believe me, I'm having more than my fair share of problems as far as my family and future in-laws are concerned and have come to the conclusion that the only people who matter are me and my H2B - it makes it a lot easier - please yourself, not anyone else.
