Thumbs down DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!

Hi Fran

My advice would be - don't go near a sunbed in a million years! This is coming from someone who has experience and, believe me, the pictures shown to me by the dermatologist I was referred to when one of my moles started bleeding would make your hair stand on end! Having a tan may make you look better and healthier but it actually means your skin is damaged and the melatonin is rushing to the surface to try to protect it. Even short term exposure is bad for your skin - it'll make you old before your time! I'm getting a tan done professionally at a salon - did it for my dress fitting and it actually looked more natural than a tan from the sun or a sunbed if that makes any sense - it's quick, easy and harmless - and it's brilliant just to lie back and be pampered for an hour! Hope I don't sound like an old fishwife, but I don't think the dangers of sunbeds are publicised nearly enough........at the end of the day though, it's entirely up to you - you'll look fab whatever you decide to do.
