We basically stuck to the traditions that we liked and forgot about the rest. We just did it exactly how we wanted!
We didnt have a sit down dinner or speeches or the wedding march.
We had a civil ceremony in a castle in Cardiff and had a stretch VW beetle take me and my sister there and then we all drove back to Bristol (where we live) and had a massive party.
The only real traditions we stuck to were not seeing each other the morning of the wedding - cos it made it more exciting. And i did the something old, new, borrowed and blue thing to.
Im not really a traditional person, or superstitious so we just planned it all according to what we wanted rather than what we are supposed to do. If you know what i mean!
