Following newbie Jo's post in another thread, I've been having a look at this website
www.honeymoney.co.uk as it could be the answer to our dilemma.
Last night, Al and I were considering cancelling our honeymoon as we'd rather use that money towards foundations for making a baby Barlow. We've already paid £925 deposit though which we would lose, plus it's the holiday of a lifetime that I can't imaging us ever managing again.
What would you think if you were given this as a gift list? Would you want to contribute to the honeymoon or would you feel conned into paying for someone else's holiday?
We don't need anything for the house (except repairs and decorating) so we won't be doing a traditional gift list. We were just going to ask for vouchers or cash.

I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.
