Hiya all
Well, I was supposed to be having 2 of my BM's come over today for dress fittings.... needless to say it didnt go quite as planned...
The lady who is making my BM dresses (a good friend of mine) came round yesterday to tell me she hadnt bought enough fabric, and had spent the day running round town trying to get a colour match! But she couldnt find anything, unless she wanted to wait til Wednesday on the off chance that someone might be able to find some for her.
Very Annoying!
Anyway, obviously there was no point in the BMs' coming over as they had nothing to try on. So i've spent today walking round every market in a 10 mile radius of my house, trying to find a bloody match for this fabric!
I found some that was almost the same, but the bloke didnt have enough! Grrr!
Anyway, I decided to go for something completely different... rather that than have it look like i tried to match it and failed. So now we're having the bodices in the orginal red, but the skirts in gold. Just been round to the dressmakers now and it looks really nice!
So it's not all bad... but it's just been one of those days!
