i love the front, and like you say a little bit higher up so you can see more from the front will look exellent, im a bit of a plain jayne myself, and i like hair more tidy..........not meaning your hair is horrbile( crap at words me, ...apologies) I more go for more defined curls rather than lose bits, if that makes any sence at all.....youd never think im a bloody hairdresser would ya!?
