I know how you feel sweetie. I think part of it is that you are worried that people will somehow judge you on the fabulousness of your dress or the quality of your champagne or something. But, if the guests are people who love and care about you and who you love and care about, they won\'t give two stuffs if all they get to eat is a slice of cake and all they get to drink is squash! They are coming to see you and Mark get married, which is a wonderful and romantic occassion for them and for you.
I had very similar feelings myself not long ago and wondered if the whole day was going to be a complete disaster because we weren\'t having a band and we won\'t have mountains of flowers all over the place, or cutsey napkin holders or a fireworks display in the evening or expensive favours...the list could be endless! But then I realised that the marriage was the only important part (as you say so often yourself) and as long as Jamie and I were happy and glowing, then that is all the decoration the room will need! (or that is what I tell myself anyway). I mean, alcohol helps, but apart from that, the rest is superficial. :o
I mean, yes, in an ideal world, we would all spend a fortune on this day and have the most amazing things money could buy, but unfortunately, this is the real world and for a lot of us these things aren\'t possible. It doesn\'t mean that we aren\'t as special tho, and we will all be beautiful brides, no matter the cost of our day!
Hope that helps cheer you up Bev, and sorry if I offended anyone who is filthy rich! Chuck a little wonga my way eh?
Cheers
Love Jxx
