I was really excited when we got engaged but the novelty has worn off a bit now . I had hoped we could get married this year but we need to save so I think it will be next year now.

I'd like to get married in our local church, but they are having a massive extension built from August this year to July next year so I don't know if there is any way round that. I know that I definitely definitely want to get married in church though.

I was thinking about our anniversary which is on 27th December, but then there is the weather to contend with, the fact that it gets dark early, and that its so close to Christmas that I don't think its realistic really . It just seems to be the only date that is significant.
