Paris - how lovely and romantic. Fab place to peoplewatch over a drink and a pastry.
Or a trip on the hop on-hop off open top bus, which'll give you a great overview of the city and stops off at loads of places.
Shopping? Galeries Lafayette is a famous department store, or my favourite Au Printemps, which is on the same road or there are loads of little boutiques/shops dotted around the back streets. If you want to do some shopping, it's probably worth bearing in mind that a lot of the shops may be shut on Sundays, they certainly were when I went in mid-November a couple of years ago but museums/galleries were open.
I enjoyed both the Louvre and the Musee d'Orsay (the Musee d'Orsay had loads of Impressionist paintings by Degas, Monet, Manet, Cezanne, Renoir etc). Didn't go to Montmartre or the Sacre-Coeur but they're supposed to be well worth a visit. The Pompidou Centre wasn't my thing (too modern) but some like it.
Have a lovely time, I'm sure that you will.
