I think a portion is the size of your wrist, though I could be wrong.

Unfortunately I didn't find anything healthy that stopped my nausea, the only thing that worked for me was chips or hula hoops.

I did make an effort to drink home made fruit and yoghurt smoothies though and that filled me up, not sure if it would help with the nausea though...
