I think we will end up doing a joint speech, just thanks to everyone, handing out the presents (we are planning to get everyone a scratch card instead of those favours, what is the significance of those things anyway!!)

I would also like to say something about his mum that died a couple of years ago, (I knew her for 7 yrs before she died??) but not sure his new stepmum would appreciate it - what do you think?? sorry to get heavy!
