Hiya all... first time here, so be gentle on me! ;) Just had to get my ha\' pennys worth in, coz this is a topic I could talk about for hours!
Im getting married next May, and was worried about finding a dress to fit (im 5\'6\", a size 22 waist but about a 26 boobs!). I went to all the shops in Manchester, and while they said they did larger sizes, they expected me to squeeze into a size 14 sample... how the hell can you see what it looks like properly!? And its so undignified standing there, with all your wobbly bits hanging out, having some skinny shop assistant poking and prodding you! So I took my money and left, and decided that for the amount i was going to pay for a dress that would have to be drastically altered, I could have one made to measure!
So now I\'ve got a lovely lady making my dress, exactly how I want it, and I feel so at ease with her, I dont care about being bigger, because I know i\'m going to look gorgeous on the day anyway now, thanks to her! :D
Now my only problem is trying to feed my bridesmaid up, because she\'s a size 10 model figure...lol
At the end of the day, if my H2B thinks i look great, then thats all I care about.
