What day is confession day?
What would you ladies think to having a specific day when we confess how much weight we've gained/lost?????
Thought Friday might be good as nobody wants to confess on Monday's after a big weekend on the beer?
I'm ready to fess up each week, but realise that weight is a deeply personal thing and wouldn't want anyone getting upset over the prospect.
Any thoughts????

I'll go with a Friday though I'm not really starting til I go back to work on Monday And I don't own any scales, refuse to buy them and only go to Mum-in-laws every couple weeks so I'll be here on a Friday but my weight will have to be here in spirit (or my own guess work?!)
The battle shall commence

Can I join in on Friday?? I think I am about 15.7 at the mo but as I dont have scales I will have to check that at Boots.
I am confused as to what eating road to go down as I really do have an unhealthy attitude to food and every diet I try / hear of just serves to make me more obsessed. THe only time I have lost weight successfully was a 5 years ago when I led a single and madly hectic life - the weight just dropped of without trying!!! Findingmy lovely fella and sharing our joint love of cooking and food has drawn me dwn this road again and I wouldnt swop now for then EVER - would just like to be able fit into my clothes/ wedding dress / knickers (have had really uncomfy pair on today)
Am I alone???

I'm in for Friday - it's my usual weigh - in day (then I go mad for the weekend!)
This is SUCH a good idea!!!! What are we comparing - weight loss/gain, actual weight, measurements, what???? Do we all want to confess what we weigh????
At the moment I'm 9st 9lb but rather floppy due to lack of going to the gym!! That's a total loss of 2stone but a gain of one since my lowest weight (and dress buying time!)

Sarah, joing a club like Weight Watchers might be your best bet as they give you meal ideas and nutritional advice and you have the support and cringe factor of being part of the group.

Can I play too?
Fridays is a good day for me, as has already been said noone wants to weigh in after all over the weekend.
So will we post current weight or just weight lost?
This is great - I don't even have to go to class anymore (not that I've been since before Christmas!).
While we are on the subject, anybody done both Slimming World and Weight Watchers and if so, what did you find easiest to stick to?
I'm trying (if you can really call it that!) Slimming World at the moment but the cream eggs keep jumping out of the fridge at me!

Tracey,
I think my sister has done both and prefers weight watchers. The not combining diff types of food was tricky for her as she works yucky shifts.
She's done really well though and has gone from a 16 to a 10 in about a year! We all just thought she was big boned but have been proved wrong.

I tried Weight Watchers years ago but didn't like the witch of a woman that run it (you know the type - less fat than a chip shop chip shouting at you when you put on instead of lost!).
I think I'll keep at Slimming World for a couple of weeks and if thats no good, I'll give Weight Watchers a shot.
Thanks guys!
Diet coke anyone?

Mmmmh... chip shop chip! *drool*
There's usually more than one class nearby, although it might be a couple of miles further away. Don't WW have a website that you could check it out on?
