Default My own regime!

Hi everyone

What a cool idea! I'm about to embark on a weight-loss thingie and just wanted to run it by you all and see what you all think.

I don't actually know what i weigh or how much i want to loose, i'll know when i look right!

As i have zero willpower i just thought that i would start going swimming about twice a week and have a "detox" day once a week in which i only eat fruit and veggies and only drink water or pure fruit juice.

This should work so much better for me that having someone dictate what i can/t eat drink etc as every diet i have ever tried has failed.

anyway will keep you all posted on how it goes

Thumbs up Good luck!

Watch out with the fruit and don't go OTT as they have a lot of sugar in, along with fruit juice. Keep track of how much alcohol you have in a week and what type too as some aren't too bad whereas others are cringe-worthy!

You should be able to burn the sugar from fruit off with activity. It's the fat content you should watch.

I try hard not to eat anything with more than 4g of fat in it. Women shoud have about 70g a day but I need to eat much less than that.

Also look at the amount of the food that sugars and saturates and keep them both low
