Alternatives
Hiya!
Just wondering if anyone has come up with any good alternatives to chocolate, crisps etc?
I found one last night! I can eat about 4 jars of silverskin pickled onions per chocolate bar!!!!
woohoo!!!

Diet coke is my saviour - less than 2 calories per can - I have one everytime I get a snack attack at work. At home, I just don't have cakes, sweets, crisps etc at home and feel too lazy to go to the shops!

I am into Special K bars as they are low in fat and are sugary which tends to kill the sugar cravings!!

Snack a jacks are low in fat and actually taste OK!! Avoid the caramel ones though asd they're really sugary...
I eat tons of apples (should probably eat more and not eat them with cheese!) but I find them about the right size, if not quite so satisfying!!
If I do want chocolate, I have a taz, or a chomp as they're nice and small and help with my craving!
No real alternatives there are there? Sorry, I got sidetracked...
It's good having this conversation before lunch though, as I'm feeling all motivated and "up for it!"

A Mars Bar - how bad can you get!!
Try a Toffee Crisp, Crunchie, Flake, Kit Kat (not Chunky) or Flyte instead - they are nowhere near as bad!

If you can bear going veggie for the night - pick up Quorn Chicken style fillets from the fridge or freezer cabinet. They taste okay, fill you up and are only 44 calories per fillet plus have more fibre than a jacket spud!
Linda McCartney meals are quite low calorie too, especially the chilli non carne - give it a go!

I'm also a big fan of snack a jacks but only the ones in small bags the giant rice cake ones are foul! I also really like the new Thai bites (they are cheaper too) and are also about 100 cals a bag. Unfortunately H2B loves them too and now I have to share a bag. For chocolate I have been eating the Green and blacks small bars they are about 120 cals and more grown up than chomps and tazs (but sometimes you just need some cadbury's don't you).
My worst downfall is toast and jam when I get in from work I have to kick that habit and find a replacement. And because it's now nearly summer I think the gardening and an ice lolly might just be able to do it.

MMMMMMMMMM!!!! Green & Blacks Chocolate.......ooohhhhhhh.....now you've gone & done it! I was doing quite well not thinking of a big bar of Maya Gold.....if you haven't tried it..may I recommend a few bits? Hey, it's Organic, Fair Trade, and because it's dark chocolate - less fat! Sorted!

I haven't had their milk but I can say that the white chocolate is lurverly, it's speckled with bits of real vanilla and still the same numbre of cals more or less than the other small bars - I think they are good mainly because they are SMALL - no giant bars of Maya Gold Cariad!!

I've still got 2 easter eggs to get through!! One white, one milk.
I might start having a 1" square piece each night to get rid of the bloody things.

I lost 2 stone last summer and as a chocolate addict i managed to get through the sweet cravings by eating a low fat yoghurt instead. However i only seem to get the choccy cravings on an evening when i am watching T.V. so i kept the fridge stocked full with muller light yoghurts.
