Thumbs up Why butter is good......

And this week's nutritional info is for all us Lurpack lovers.........

Saturated fat is bad - we all know this!!! But what we may not know if that polyunsaturates and monosaturates actually saturate and produce fatty acids when they reach high temperatures.......

And low-fat spread is chemical crap...........

So really, we're all better with a little scrape of Lurpack on our food rather than a dollop of marge or LF spread......

WOOOOO-HOOOOOOOO!!!!! I'm off to eat BUTTER!!!!!!!!!

I agree. Butter is best. Especially organic butter. I ascribe to the "a little of what you fancy" school of thought. I would be far happier with a little scraping of butter, than some chemically treated & additive packed marge. You just don't know what's in some stuff!! Looking on the label of a pack of butter, all you get is cream & salt more or less, and marge - a list of E numbers as long as your arm...no thanks!

The key is moderation, I guess!

I don't really like butter - have my sarnies without given the choice. Not out of being healthy or anything.

But buttered toast is yum - esp unsalted Lurpack..

(off to hunt down toaster..)
