Default Wool..

Can anyone suggest a good website to buy wool online? I am going to have a go at knitting Megan a blanket, the design is in this months Mother and Baby magazine, and I want to know where I can buy wool online as there are no wool shops around here!

I thought of Hobbycraft, but you can't order online...

Help anyone!!!

Fran

I know that this is really late, and that you are now knitting (was off on my first anniversary holiday in the Groovy Cottage) but I wanted to say welcome to the world of knitting! I use Dianne's Knitting Site www.knitting-yarn.co.uk but have had to stop knitting now, as I think I have knitted more stuff than my baby will have time to wear.

I did buy 100g of mohair which was hand spun and dyed by a kntting co-op in Cumbria. I am looking forward to making myself a scarf with that.

I am going to get mum to show me how to cast on and off today and am going to practice with some cheaper wool before I start on my cashmerino aran wool!

Is that cashmerino the Debbie Bliss wool? I love that stuff. I have never knitted anything with it, but I have been to one of the local wool shops to stroke it!

It certainly is the Debbie Bliss wool, and it certainly does feel lovely! I am practicing with a cheap wool first as I don't want to ruin it!
