Wish I could knit, I love making things! My mum can knit anything from anything and tried so many times to teach me, but I never quite got the hang of it - my excuse being that I'm left handed... and was young and impatient! Is there anywhere online with foolproof instructions for total beginners?!
Fran, what are you going to make?

Not sure about anything online to help you, but if I can do it, anyone can!

I am making a blanket that is made up of square patches, 18 stitches by 38 rows, so far so good! The pattern is in this months mother and baby magazine.. I find it quite relaxong to be honest!

I don't think I could make anything more daring at the moment. I think my forte is going to be knitting blankets and scarves! fool proof things!
