Default Gold/Silver printer ink cartridges

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy gold or silver ink cartridges for a printer. We are going to make our wedding stationary and some of it is going to be done on the PC. We would like to have gold ink for the inserts in the invitations but I don't know if you can get the ink cartridges anywhere. Otherwise I guess I could write them out by hand.

Also my printer at home has almost died on me so I am going to get a new one. Can anyone recommend any?

Thanks

Teresa

Sorry, no idea about the cartridges. I was just thinking that it may not be that expensive to get them done at a printers - you could design and type them on your computer, then take it to them on a CD (or whatever) to print for you.
As for printers, my Epson hasn't ever troubled me. Just check the price of cartridges before you buy your new one, cos there can be a lot of difference... ker-ching.

Hi Theresa,

I know that you can get embossing cartridges from:

www.kookykards.co.uk

Don't know if they do gold and silver though, but worth a look.

I love that a seemingly obvious advertiser has dug up a four year old thread.

You can get gold and silver ink but only for certain printers and at the moment they aren't cheap.
