Has anyone made their own...did it work out ok or was it too much hassel??

I want to make my own to have that imprint on our special day and also to save money but im not very creative or crafty come to think of it and am worried that i wont be able to make them look nice enough!

I made my own, as did lots of other Groovers. It did take quite a while, but that was good as it kept me occupied and made the time pass quicker.

My advice would be to keep it really simple, as that is often more effective, and also try lots of techniques out first. You don't need to be that artistic or creative really. It is amazing what you can do with a rubber stamp and some glitter!

I'm making my own. It's not as hard as you might think. I designed my own but if you have trouble thinking of ideas then you could have a look around at other invitations, hand and machine made and take inspiration from them

I'm going to make ours too. Not sure exactly what to do yet but am definately going to go for something simple. I've sent off for lots of samples from companies to get some ideas.

I made ours - I enjoyed it, and I liked the fact it was more personal and I could have them just how I liked (while hubby went, "Fine, whatever"!). Got heaps of compliments too.
Have a look at ones you can buy, then pick and mix ideas from your favourites. But everyone is right, definitely keep it simple because it can get time consuming - just make sure you start making them early on.
