Mum has really got into this card making thing and it turns out she has a bloomin great natural talent for it. Shes managed to sell a load already and is in the process of doing an 'order' for someone.

She told me when we were out today that shes made a few different wedding invitations and that shed love to make them for us if we would like her to.

I think its a lovely idea and itll be really personal to us and the fact that they are beautiful is a bonus! Shes going to keep practising as shes obvioulsly got a while (although were not sure how long!) to master them and is intending to do all invites, menus, order of services, place cards, acceptance cards and thankyou cards.

Im really chuffed she wants to do it and touched that shes willing to spend all that time on something for us. I love my mum

That is brilliant news! Must be good to know that's one other task to tick off your list, and the fact that your mum is making them will make them extra special

We've decided to make our own but haven't started yet. Think we might have to have a go soon in case we are completely rubbish and need to buy them.
