I am just posting this because I have been VERY UNHAPPY with the lady who was supposed to be making custom labels for my favors -
custom labels 4 u . com (all together of course). I know that it is not a lot of money but still... I feel like I have been taken advantage of and want all you girls to know not to use her so you don't have the same problem.

So here is the story:
I had called her on the phone because her website was very confusing... (and I noticed on her site she was local... so I figured GREAT!) When I call her I told her what I was looking for. I told her Ithat I wanted to order around 1000 labels and I want them to be all different...I want them to look different so it didn't look cheezy and cheap...
WELL when I received them 3 1/2 weeks ago they were all THE SAME... same graphic, same font, same text style.... WHICH IS NOT WHAT I ORDERED!!! So I decided to call her and tell her that wasn't happy with they order and it was not what I ordered... and she said fine send me back 1/2 and I will redo them... well I sent her back half... AND... she sends me an email like 1 week later... telling me that she is not going to redo them because she doesn't feel like she needs too... that it wasn't her mistake! I just tonight received the same original labels in the mail with a note. The note says, "Sorry, I just can't help you." WTF!!!

WHATEVER... So I said to myself and FH. Word of mouth will not be selling her product this time...

I just can't believe that someone won't take responsibility for there own mistake!! Come on, she knows she is wrong she just doesn't want to lose out of the money it is going to cost her to fix it!!!

Do you think you could find someone who would be able to make adjustments on your lables so that you can still have them abit different to one another?

This is dreadful. The only problem is that if you didn't have agreement in writing over the labels you wanted I doubt you have any sort of come-back.

I'm really sorry to hear about it and hope you manage to get what you need elsewhere.

I'm not sure if this helps but on my course we looked into Business and the law.

Effectively you have entered entered into a contract which is legally binding agreement which is enforcable in a court of law. These contracts can be made by word or mouth which includes an oral contract if your order goods over the telephone.

I'm not saying that you would go that far, but I would certainly write a letter outlining those facts, as the person maybe inclined to produce the labels that you asked for.
