Question Swarovski crystals - AB vs SS?

Can someone tell me the difference between ab and ss crystals please? Is it just that ab sparkle with all the colours of the rainbow whereas ss are just sparkly?

I think it is Lauz as when Kezz got me mine, there were a sparkly one and a rainbow one and the lady had written down 2 different sets of letters next to the cost of them.

yep, that's right

i got both kinds and if it is sparkly you are after go for the ss - they are like wee diamonds!! They do sparlke rainbows the way a diamond would, but are a bit more discreet than the ab ones

just my views

Thanks girls, I'm gonna go for the ss ones I think.

There's an ebay seller selling 100x ss20 (5mm) crystals for £8.99 + P&P. Does this sounds reasonable? (She sells smaller ones too if anyone is looking)
