these pics are not great as i had to use the webcam and the light was poor.

pic number one is the day invitation. its ivory with red then green, (incase you cant see the colour) and in between theres that paper with the vows written in a fancy font, then the green, then a pic of the two of us, its going to be on a smaller scale though.

number 2 is the evening invite. again, light not good, but its a red square then a green square with a heart punched out of it.

we still have to make some changes, but these are just first drafts

like i said they are only first drafts and we sorta made them up as we went along. embossing didnt go too well as we are still waiting on the heat gun off ebay. we heated the powder under the grill!!! oops! it was fun to do today but i think making over 100 of them will be stressful!!

just out of interest, do any of you think that one is better than the other? we showed them to our mums who both said that the evening one looks more formal and traditional and we should use that for the day one. they said the day one looks not so professional. but we prefer the day one, that was the idea that we wanted to use for them and although it needs a few changes, we really like it!

I think they are both so gorgeous and so personal. I think you should have the one with your picture for the wedding invitation. After all, the day is about you two!

them both too! Both very different from one another.

I think you should stick with having the one with your photo for your day invitation as it is different, and I think, looks fantastic!

I think the one with the picture of you both is great for you day time invite, so personal. At the end of the day it has to be your choice though....

Hi, I'm late to this, but just wanted to say they are both fab. Personally, I like the one with the photo as it's very modern and a bit different. Plus it's so personal. Nobody will ever have invitations the same!

just bringing this thread back to the top to show what my day invites finally turned out like. again, webcam so the pic is not very good. forgot my digital camera.
am a bit puzzled tho as to where the original pics went that i posted at the start of this thread.?
