Default Jaywalking
Hey everyone!
Just thought I'd show you what i've been up to the past week at lunch, breaks and any free minute I have
After finding this yummy sock yarn on sale together with Karen's help of telling myself I wanted to knit another pair of socks( I swore after the first pair I was NEVER knitting any again) I think I'm in LOOOOOOOOOOVE!!!
Let me just start by saying the free patterns that come on the ball of wool are CRAP! (for socks anyway) DON"T USE THEM!!! Thats what turned me insane in the first place. So anyway here's my pride and joy, can't wait to get the second one on the needles so i'll be that much closer to wearing them.

wow they are ace! Well done you, my freind is going to teach me to knit soon, maybe I will start with a pair of socks... although they look quite complicated.... maybe just a scarf then

They are magnificent! I had the urge to knit some socks a while back, but they are now so far down my knitting list that it is not going to happen anytime soon. I really really have to finish a blanket and two jackets first. Fortunately the jackets are 3-6 months size, thought that could be very soon after they are born the way they are currently growing!

Well they are FINISHED!! Sock 2 took a bit longer than sock one because I've been a tad busy but they are finally finished so I can wear and admire them. Of course I've got pics!

They are brilliant. I have never tried knitting socks but those piccys have inspired me i feel a trip to the craft shop coming on tomorrow! I love the colour.
