OK........I am a proffesional cake decorator, as my name suggests lol. I have been designing and decorating since 1987 (and I'm still young lol)
I put myself through night school for 5 years to gain certificates.
I have noticed a few people saying they'd like to have a bash at doing thier own cakes so.................
I thought about doing a step-by-step class (with pictures) on here.......it might end up a helluva big thread though, but it gives people the opportunity to try it for themselves, even on a birthday cake
The best way to learn is practise and becoming confident with the different pastes...
would anyone be interested ???
we could start with
1- the cake
2-the feeding
3-the marzipan
4-the icing
5-simple decoration
and if anyone was REALLY interested maybe some sugar flowers

well somehow, we'll manage to fit it in........even if it's something every couple of days.
I don't have many free hours, who does ?.........
ok we'll give it a few days and and can get some pictures taken as I have 6 fruit cakes to bake, so it's a great opportunity to get some "to begin with" pictures....
ok off to my bed now, sick of watchin big brother
