That is a beautiful sock. What with you and Spicey taunting me with your socks, I am even more desperate to finish all of my baby blanket and cardigan backlog so that I can have a go. Perhaps when all the children have started school!

I will call it Brian!

Spicey - the yarn is Regia Sock Yarn 4Ply Mini Ringel. It's 75%wool, 25% polymide. It's ok, feels quite hard wearing, but not the softest or most pleasant thing I've ever knit with.

Nicola - definately give it a go, it was so much easier than I thought it would be. I started the second one last night and I'm almost finished already - should have a pair by tomorrow evening! Woo!

Bev - If you are that fast a knitter, you don't fancy knocking up a blanket for one of my twins do you? I could have done with you a few months ago! Actually they are going to have to fight over the one that I have knitted and the other one gets a shop bought one. Unless one turns out to be a girl after all, in which case one is a bit more girly than the other. One day I will knit some socks....

Unfortunately a bit slowly since I've been back at work. It's actually nearly done, I just have to start the decreases for the toe. My day off is Sunday so hopefully I'll get it done then! I need to get a move on, I've got two scarves on needles to get finished yet!
