Default Orders of Service

I am hoping to make my own orders of service (I have almost finished the invites) but I am having trouble finding the card I want. Ideally I want some Navy smooth A4 card (about 100 sheets).

Anyone any ideas?

Have you got a Hobbycraft near you as they sell all sorts of coloured card in there.

Hi Lampygal,

Just noticed where you are having your reception. I went to a wedding their a few months ago and it was lovely. great food, lovely hotel, especially liked the spa pool for a morning after swim.

Good luck with the card. don't WHSmiths do coloured card?

Caline

Thanks, I think the nearest place is Hobbycraft in Milton Keynes.

Bedford really is a nightmare for shopping sometimes. We even have a grace brothers style department store!

Think I may have to enlist the help of one of our sets of parents, or make sure I have my walking boots on as it looks like a fair trek out of the centre of MK........

A4 270gsm Card - Navy Blue - £0.20p a sheet.

Found it here:http://cardcraftheaven.co.uk/acatalo...ured_Card.html, but I had to leave sharpish, there's far too many goodies on that site for a crafter!!

oooh I found some. Went to visit my venue on Saturday and popped into a little stationers to try and find some fleoresant push pins (don't ask) and they had some navy card - 4.50 for 50 sheets. Fab!

Got very exited and started making my OoS - Only a year to go....
About half way through, have done 99 copies silver Order of Service at the top then a Turquoise dragonfly underneath. Just got to sort the wording on the rest of it!

Well here are the pics, they haven't come out hugely well, but the actual ones are lovely.

Also attached the invite. I just have to decide how to put the wording on the base of the OoS.

Ooh, I love the dragonfly - very cute. Are you stamping and embossing those on?

I'm stamping the dragonfly (ebay) with a mix of acrylic paints including silver to make it metallic, it really shines in the sunshine.

The words were peel offs, very easy to use.

Any thoughts on the best way to put the rest of the wording ?

you could always try printing on paler blue or silver paper (to match the dragonfly) and then mount that into the card?
