Hi,
I have decided to make some feather bouquets for me and my Bsms. I'm not sure really where to start though. I was thinking of using the bouquet handles with the oasis foam in them to put the feathers in. Am I on the right track??
Also, I am going to be painting back drops but not sure where to get fabric paint from? Can anyone suggest anywhere please??
Your bouquet will be totally gorgeous, sorry i can't help with advice but as i am making my own crystal bouquet i just wanted to reply. I am sure some one in a craft shop will be able to help . I searched Google for info on how to make mine and found a great site with diagrams etc. Non-traditional bouquets seem much more popular in the US at the mo so it might be worth having a look.
When I had a bouquet of silk flowers when I was a bridesmaid, I think they were held together by just wrapping around the bundle of stalks with some of the that white tape stuff (sorry - don't know the technical term). It help them all together really well, and nobody saw the tape bit either,
The girls are right about hobbycraft luv. If you take your piccy in and ask about how to go about it they will help you find the stuff you need.
They were really good when i was making all my invitiations for the wedding.
Id bet youll get a good price on the bay of E for your feathers and bits and bobs, and im guesing that youd just need florist tape to bind the feathers and wire together.
hope you get it sorted hun.xxxxx
