Wedding scrapbook
Hi all
as you know I enjoy making cards etc and made my wedding invites.
I decided to get a small 8x8 scrapbook and have a go at making one of our wedding memories. It's finished now and looks really good! I wish I had used the 12x12 size though as I wanted to include the invite I made and some of the lovely cards we were given but I couldn't use them as they were too big. I'm tempted to do another book in the bigger size!
I'm going to take some pics of the scrapbook and post them for you to see.
I think I've found a new hobby!
Laura

I'd like to see the pictures too. I've heard people talking about scrap booking but I don't really know what it involves.
From what you have said it sounds like a lovely momento, and I wish I had done something similar at the time.

Ang we have loads of receipts etc which Mr L has put into a fab 3D frame for us and it hangs in our front room as a lovely reminder. Here's the pic but I had to reduce it so small to post it here you can't really see the detail.....

Meant to add that it has the tickets for our baseball game in there as well as a reciept for a genuine New York pizza! Theres a beermat from the restaurant where we had lunch on our wedding day plus some 3D stickers we bought over there (the limo etc). They have so much choice there it's unreal!

awww its lovley hun. I love scrapbooking. Im into all the cardmaking stuff too, although i havent had much time to do anything for a while latey.
ive started a scrapbook myself and put about 8 pages of holidays , days out, friends wedding, first xmas and stuff like that but ill add more to it one day!
Have you got any piccys of places the two of you went beore you got married? you could give it the title 'when we first met....' or you could continue it on over years, adding all sorts of lovley stuff that the two of you share luv.xxxxxx

Thats a good idea! I only thought of doing one of our wedding but then added in the pages of us when we were little to start it off. I was hoping to make one each for the kids from birth to 18 or so - I still have some thier little wristbands etc from the hospital but must admit to have thrown alot away over the years. It's really good fun and something I hope to continue - that was my first attempt so I'm hoping to get more creative with the pages as I go!
