Default Photo albums

As you may know we had 'official' photos taken recently, after our wedding in New York in April. I'm ordering the photographers cd so we can print as many photos as we like.

I decided I'd like to put these in an album so went on the hunt for something suitable as having one made up is so expensive! I found a lovely album in Klick (a high st photo shop) for 9.99. It's just what I wanted - tissue in between each page, cream in colour with a watermarked silk effect and a pocket on the front to hold a small photo or a card with wording etc.

I then went to a craft shop on e bay and got 40 card frames for the pics (cost 7 pounds inc postage). The album is 12x12 and the frames are 10x8 (will fit a 5x7 photo) so I have the room to put the photos in the album either horizontally or vertically.

I reckon it will look really good and it's costing a fraction of the price.

I have slip in albums that hold my pictures from New York but was thinking about getting another album so I could do the same with those photos (I'll have them re-printed in the same size etc).

Thing is, should I mix the photos or keep them in separate albums? Your thoughts please!

Hmm I would say mix them up just for a bit of variety!

I think it depends if you want to be able to distinguish them as being different in years to come. If so then separately, if you just wanna mix them up then mix 'em up

Your album sounds lovely

I must admit I'm swaying towards seperate at the moment, which means buying another album but that's no problem. I'll certainly post pics once I've done!
Must be about time to start my xmas cards soon......<wanders off whistling>
