Default Order Of Service

Hiya...as most of you know I'm making my own order of service, what I want to know is what info goes on the front cover?
I have a black and white line drawing of my church with the name underneath and the words 'Order Of Service' at the bottom.
Do our names and the date need to be added?
Any ideas/suggestions gratefully recieved
Laura

I have no idea what officially goes on the front of an Order of Service, but I have just printed out the covers for all of mine and have put "Celebrate the marriage of Nicola Bundy to Mark McAree" then I left a space for a purple rubber stamped heart, and then at the bottom I have "at All Saints Church, Shrewsbury, Saturday 12th October 2002 at 2pm".

As I say, I have no idea what it should have said, but it does look quite nice. I now have to worry about what to put in the middle now!

Nicola

You can put anything you like on your order of service, that's why making your own stationery is such a great idea.

Normally you would include:

ORDER OF SERVICE

Couple's name

Church/venue

Date

But it is all down to personal prefernce!

Hope this helps you! If you would like more information please email me!

If you've got a nice church picture then I'd leave it blank ish and put name / date on the first insert page...

Yup, agree with Roz here.

We just had a picture and "Order of Service" on the front, the the 1st page of the insert had our names and the date/venue details.

Then all the words to the hymns etc.
