It's all done in Powerpoint. If you use Word, I can put all the names into it using a Word style so that you can change it easily.

The black writing (very faint) under the tables are the table numbers - names to be added

Hi Nikki,

Just remembered to look at this thread.

E-mail me through your tables and names. Let me have your colour scheme (obviously I realise that you're having red, but let me have any other colours you need) and i'll start work on it tomorrow.

I'll pm you my work e-mail.

Nikki, have sent you a couple today.

Still need to work on both, but will give you an idea.

Let me know if you don't get them.

I've sent you my number if you've got any major probs, but i've left it on my work computer so i'll need to do it Mon-Fri.

Right, final version (barring any last minute changes) sent to you.

Also, let me know if you got my e-mail today as i'd like to send you something I found purely by chance yesterday that might make you laugh on your wedding day.

Re the table plan, let me have any other changes by tomorrow coz i'm off on hols as of Sunday.

God, your wedding's so close!!!

Yep, received loud and clear. Have now got Top table, three tables directly in front of top table and two tables bringing up the rear!

Will send to you again tonight just to make sure it's O.K.

I'll also e-mail it to myself at home and check to see if you've left me any messages on groovy tomorrow to make sure you've received it and it's alright.

Please Dawnie I don't know where to start. I'm having a long top table for eight people and then round tables for the rest of our 50 or so guests. I don't even know how many to a table or anything.....

Thanks

Sorry Melissa, only just looked at this thread again - need constant prodding to spark me into action!

Speak to your venue first - ask them how many people you can comfortably fit on each table combined with the amount of guests that have accepted so far.

Then try and put people together that might have something in common - we had the obvious tables for families, but some we put together because they had relatively young children and we thought they might have that in common.

Others who needed bringing out of themselves a bit were put onto tables with our more 'extrovert' friends. That seemed to work well too.

HTH

Thumbs up F.A.O. Dawnie the artist

Just to say those table seating designs were fantastic, and was, erm... erm... just wonderin, erm... if you could maybe figure one out for me? Were having our tables themed, Scottish Castles, and are hopefully gonna get small piccys of all the castles laminate and place on approp. table, but are kinda stick how to incorporate this into the seating plan thingy. Our venue has a board thing but no idea what size it is, soz. Lilac/purple and silver are main colours too.
Would b gr8 to c what you can come up with, many thanks
