Default Dressmaking patterns - flowergirl dresses

Does anyone know of any websites selling dressmaking patterns for flowergirl dresses? my sister is going on a course to learn how to make clothes and she would love to make her daughter's flowergirl dress for my wedding next year.

Thanks
Snowball

Hi Snowball

You could try:
http://www.mccall.com/
http://www.voguepatterns.com/
http://www.simplicity.com/s2b.htm

They tend to sell these patterns in John Lewis and other fabric shops too!

Hope that helps

Hi Gail

Do you think it will be very difficult to make? my sis is going on a course so will be new to dressmaking but I have every confidence in her that she will be able to do it. I think it will be really nice for her to know that her mummy made her dress, and it will hopefully save a few pennies and be personal!

To tell u the truth it is a pretty basic dress...the most difficult part is getting the zip to fit perfectly........and adding all those skirts may be a bit fiddely.........but she should be able to ask for tips from the person who is teaching her dressmaking.

That's good then, my mum also used to be a dab hand with the old sewing machine so hopefully she'll lend a hand!
