Lightbulb Placenames

everyone,

I've just been thinking about how to write my guest's names on the placesettings, however, I can't do calligraphy and my handwriting isn't the neatest.

I've heard that you can buy transparent sticky labels that you can print the names onto and then stick to the placecards. Has anyone else heard of these? If so, do you know where I can buy them from and if they are worth it? Do they look nice and are they easy to use?

Or can anyone suggest anything else that I could do?

Thanks, Beeny

Yes - you can get transparent sticky labels on a sheet (for PC use) or you could also use one of those "Dymo" tape label makers that you can get different coloured rolls of tape for - I know they do a white one (black print) and a mother-of-pearly stylee one (again, black print).

Or

You can get stencils if you dont trust your handwriting?

Or

Anyone else in the family who's artistic and could do for you?

Or

Some companies will do calligraphy for you for a price.

Or

Poleroid pics of your guest at thier setting???????....... (only good if you have someone on the day to take the pics for you - eg arriving at the church - or people could send you thier pics for you to put onto the cards!?)

Good Luck!!!!

Beeny, you can get the transparent labels from most stationers, like Staples for example.

Thanks everyone!!!

I have now bought some snicky gluey things with glitter...very difficult to explain, from the NEC Wedding Show at the weekend.

It was quite expensive but hopefully it will look quite funky, if i manage to do it right that is!!!! I'll scan one in for you all to see and comment on as soon as i have made some.
