Default Ring cushion

Hiya all. I like the thought of my flower girl carry our rings down the aisle on a cushion. I have looked at some and they seem quite expensive to buy, so in keeping with my economy drive I have decided to make one! I reckon I can make it for a total of £8...the ones you buy I have seen start at £15.
I bought some lilac satin, (a remnant piece) cream edging and cream satin ribbon, some little cream bows and some stuffing. Now.....erm any ideas???
If anyone has made one or was thinking of doing so I'd appreciate some advice! I know the basics and I couldn't embroider our initials or anything as intricate but I think I can do a reasonable job. Am I mad??? (answers on a postcard......)

Why not make it into an "Oxford" cushion (with wide flat edges) so it is traditional, but with a modrn twist...
