Default new slant on the ring cushion

I've cheated!!!! (see post entitled Ring Cushion). I had doubts about my prowess with a needle and thread...and whilst passing BHS today I saw a lovely lilac satin cushion. The trim etc wasn't what I wanted but it was in the sale (a bargain at £6) so I bought it and have sat all afternoon adding my own trim.
I only need to find a way to attach the rings to it with the cream ribbon I bought so they dont slide all over the place
I think it looks gorgeous but watch this space, I'll get the digita camera out and post a pic and you can give me you opinons.

Sounds lovely! Why not sew 2 bits of purple ribbon onto it, you'd only need two stiches (in the middle so you have 2 bits of ribbon either side) and then tie them round the rings? or attach two bits and tie each ring separately?

Sorry if that makes no sense what so ever!

Ooooh good idea.....I was thinking oh having them at opposite corners but in the middle with short ribbon would be better I think.

I thought it would be nice after the wedding to let my little flower girl keep the cushion as a momento of the day. What do you think?
