Default Printing problems

I said before that I have had trouble with my new printer (an Epson C42) well I have just read a review about that printer in a computer mag and guess what?...apparently that printer is renound for banding problems (what I'm having when printing). So....we have decided to get another before I print the invites etc. The printer won't go to waste as it can be used it with our other system as it's good enough for just printing typestuff.
I was going to buy rubber stamps and ink (I found a site) but at £20 for the two stamps and ink (and they didnt have the colour i wanted) I think it's better investing in a new printer, at least I'll use that again. I don't intend doing all this again!

Default re printer.....

I mailed Epson...they sent back a mail detailing how to check everything was set up okay and how to clean the print heads. We did that but the print still bands
They said if all that didnt work to ring the number they gave us and they will send a courier to pick it up and deliver a new one at the same time. May try that but I'm not happy.
