Once you've done it for the umpteenth time you get really proficient!!!! If it was really fiddy maybe you could simply it a bit? If you don't want to then don't panic as you have plenty of time.

It looks quite good actually, if I do say so myself. Took a bit of time to get it just how I wanted, and once the glue was dry it looked well. I'll try to post a pic soon.
