Not sure who, but I'm pretty sure someone on the site attached sparkly bits to their veil..........

i'm getting little diamantes for my VERY plain veil. i am getting them from our local BOYES store but you probably don't have one of them (its a north east store) for about £1.50 for a tube. you could try any local sewing shops, art shops, crafty shops or other discount shops like Wilkinsons, Yorkshire Trading Company etc.

hth (but probably not! lol) and am attaching them with clear craft glue.

I attached tiny hologram stars to my veil, so that they would just catch the light. But they were so small that I started to regret it. I have a little bit of PVA glue on a saucer, and used the head of a pin to make dots on the veil, and then I tried to pick up the sequin star thing with tweezers and place them on the spot of glue! I could only do about five and then went cross eyed and got a headache and had to stop for about an hour! They did look good in the end though. I also sewed a sparkly kind of thread around the outside, but it was almost five metres, and I regretted that after a while too!

I ordered lots from this place when I was making my tiaras:

http://www.lainesworld.co.uk/
Her service was brilliant (I placed my order at 4pm one night, and it arrived the following morning - from Scotland!). She has lots of sparkly bits - take a look. very cheap too.

Well I bought ones that had claws on then, and then they just closed round the headband of the tiara. You could do this, but a claw might catch your dress so i wouldnt advise it. Do you have an old net curtain? You could get some and try sticking one onto it with super glue, you wouldnt need much glue though. Worth a try. OR you could call/e-mail Lainsworld and ask them and see if they can suggest anything. They were very helpful

I'm a bit late on this one but you can get fabric glue at any craft shop. Good luck and let us see a piccy when you've got it sorted!
