Default Name place cards

Hello all!
I was going to just write name place cards on plain card but found a template on my computer for making little bags. So I am making little bags (in card) which will be filled with sweets (love hearts and jelly beans) and have the name hand written on the front and tied shut with ribbon. I'll post a pic when I've done!
Laura <wondering if she's really got time to do this!!!

Sounds great. Bonbonierre and place cards for the table, all in one. That seems to be the way to go over here at the moment also, or so say the books I've been reading.

That sounds like a great idea Laura!

Go for it & I'm sure you can "bag" a few helpers to speed you along!

Can't wait to see a piccie when you've finished!

Hehe Bunny I've got my eldest daughter helping. We sat last night and watched Bend it like Beckham on dvd and cut out most of them. I went to see a friend of my mum's who has a sweet stall in town and she said she will do me a good deal on Jelly beans and Candy hearts for the bags. I also got the tartan ribbon while I was in town and got extra for the cake while I was there so it all matches. All the invites are now out (whohooo) and I feel almost in control
And for the best news......I've gone down a dress size!!!!!!

Yeah!

Sounds like you've really got everything on track now....... enjoy the rest of the planning and the "faffy stuff"

I reckon you'll have lots of yummy sweets to put into the bags!

Well done on going down a dress size too......... hope your dress still fits you though!
