Question What to do in Dublin?

My American BM is coming over for the wedding in December and combining it with her honeymoon. They'll have a week in England with us then they're going to Dublin for New Year. They want to do the Guinness Brewery, but need other ideas to fill the time.

Anyone got any touristy things they can do, bearing in mind it'll be in December?

Thank you!

Ooh, Bianca - you're going to have a great time.

I've not been, but everyone I speak to who's been to Dublin raves about it.

Have a great time (and take lots of photos).

One good place to visit is Trinity College to have a look at the Book of Kells...but i guess you have to be into that type of thing.

to be honest I am not a fan of dublin (but that could be due to me living there in my early 20's and was very very broke!!!).

To be honest I can't think of a whole lot else to recommend there... There is Temple Bar, which is very popular with tourest, esp hen and stag nights. A word of warning, it is not a cheap place!!!

It's a place I'd love to visit, but I've never heard much about it. I know it's popular with Stag and Hens, but for a couple of Americans on their honeymoon things are a bit different
