Default Blackpool!

We've booked a weekend away in Blackpool which i thought i'd tell you all about!

we are going on the 1pm train on Friday 12 sept and coming back on the lunchtime train on the sunday 14 sept having stayed 2 nights B,B & Eve Meal at the New Kimberley Hotel!

the hotel we've booked was the only one in our price range with family rooms still available but it looks really nice, its in the South end i think. near the pleasure beach and a few minutes tram ride from the amusements and tower, but the trams are all part of the fun right?

we thought we'd get there on the friday have our evening meal and go to the pleasure beach for a few hours and then on the saturday we are going to go to the zoo in the morning and the amusements/circus tower in the after noon. back for evening meal at hotel and then a tram ride along the 'mile' to see the full display of lights. sunday travel home.

sound fun?? or just a bit dull? (for those of you off to the bloody bahamas that is! )

Am really looking forward to it. it'll be a lovely break and can't wait to see charlie's face when he sees the lights!

Oh that will be fab! I wanted to take our little ones in October to see the lights but I don't think we can make it then.
Have a good break!

That sounds like fun. I bet you'll have a great time and Charlie will enjoy himself. I've never been to Blackpool but it sounds great.

Obviously, growing up down the road from the bright lights of the centre this isn't my cup of tea but I do know that Blackpool is a great trip for people with kids... we took the littleuns to St Anne's yesterday and they had a great time doing holiday things! I'm sure Charlie will love it!
