I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

Ah... a tasteful glamour pose!

He will LOVE it, of that I have no doubt whatsoever!!! I bet his eyes pop out when he sees it and then the grin will spread across his face.

Um... the Roman Baths and the Abbey. The town centre is actually nice all over plus there are some lovely parks along the water where they sculpt the hedges (or they did when I was there).

If you have time, perhaps nip to Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge? I did a pony trek when I was there too but that's based just outside Bath. It was a 2-hour trek to the pub for lunch then a 1-hour trek back again

Make sure you have a good map as most of Bath is one-way and can be a nightmare to get around in the car!

Have a great time. I can echo about the roman baths and also remember that there are loads of lovely shops there ... and a Hagen Daaz cafe!!

Hope you have a fab time. Pete will love his presents.

We went to Bath a few months ago and it is lovely. We did an open top bus ride round the city which was good. It lasts about an hour but they show you all the bits you can visit. The baths are lovely and the Abbey is nice. You can do a boat trip along the river too. The town is nice all over and there are some lovely shops and restaurants. Have a look at this website for some info. http://www.visitbath.co.uk/
