I have flown with American Airlines before and they were fab! You get lots of food and the seats are roomy and service good. Very american!

Otherwise, most well known name airlines are all much of a muchness really. If you haven't heard of them, avoid, but otherwise you should not have too much trouble.

I am off to LA with Delta in September, so I will let you know what they are like!

I haven't flown with them but have heard they are supposed to be goo. I think that most of the big airlines are pretty similar really.

[I have - to Florida.

The internal flight was really delayed, but they held the flight to the UK for us anyhow. It wasn't bad overall.

I think Delta's been my fave to the US so far.

I'm using Air France next time because its cheap. I just hope the plane makes it....

Have had a look and couldnt find any direct flights with Delta. Have narrowed it down pretty much now to BA, Virgin or American Airlines, theink American airlines might be better for us as they seem to be more roomy.

AA are brilliant.. the ecomnomy seats are roomy and you get really good food and drinks.. Softs are free but you have to pay for Alchohol.. on the way back they had double booked our seats and we got sent back to a desk by the Plane and they upgraded us to Business Class which was superb!!

We would use them again in fact thinking of using them when we go to Orlando in May...

Virgin are also fantastic - Free drinks but not quite as much room in economy!

Either are good whichever is cheapest!!

Thanks Claire, AA seem to be coming out a bit cheaper at the mo and after the cramped flight to Ireland i think the appeal of more room is winning us both over!

We flew American Airlines on our honeyman to Arizona and then internally from there to Vegas and then back to UK - they were fantastic, especially with me having to get extra help because of my back - couldn't fault them at all. Have fun!
