Anywhere in Greece will stil be hot then surely? Usually get a last minuter there for under 200 a head.

Otherwise we were offered a last minute in Egypt of all places in October last year for 250ish. We didn't get to go in the end but they're both going to be warm enough.

It’s just off the coast of Turkey so the weather was gorgeous in May. We stayed in Kokkari last year which is a pretty little fishing village in the north of the island. I recommended Samos to my BM who went this May, she stayed in the resort of Kambos which is down south & also had a great time.
I would recommend Kokkari for a chilled holiday for couples. It’s a smallish resort so it doesn’t attract the crowds and is perfect for a week.
On the slightly negative side, Greek resorts tend to slow down in the 2nd week of October so there may be a few places shut. I went to Kos in the 2nd week of October in 2001 – they had a heatwave & the cocktail bar on the beach was doing their drinks at half price cause it was their last week

We went to Malta at the end of september and it was really hot. I'm sure it won't be much cooler in October. Otherwise the Greek islands or maybe Italy.
