Default Cottage needed!

Yup. We would like to find a nice cosy cottage to spend chrimbo in instead of a honeymoon. It has to be south of Cotswolds really as we dont fancy driving to the Lakes or anything (Groovy cottage out I know!) If anyone has rented one down south that they thought was nice could they let me know please.. I know I can lok on the net but 1000s come up and you never know from the piccis what they are like

How far south of the Cotswolds are you planning????

We've stayed in cottages in Cornwall (Pelynt, near Looe/Polperro) that are really lovely.... but not sure if that's too far for you!

If you want any more information give us a yell!

PS This is another site worth a look at .......... spent ages trying to find somewhere for us to go this year, and then it got changed thanks to Matt going to Iraq, then not, then us moving and him going to Iraq again!

Oooh, try www.helpfulholidays.co.uk (I think) they have a lovely cottage in Devon that we stayed in for our honeymoon. It is cosy but gorgeous with stained glass windows, a huge bed and open fire. Delish! I will try and find a link! It was a converted victorian recitals hall! Okay, found it, its L249 Aveton Gifford, put it in the search box and it should come up!

You could try some of these:

http://www.westcountrylinks.co.uk/ho...es/search.html This one has some lovely ones in Dorset. Some friends stayed in one last summer and we went to visit.

I know, completely gorgeous huh? And pretty reasonably priced I thought. Good luck on deciding!

By the way, if you do use helpful holidays, they have a sister company called west country foods who deliver hampers of the most droolworthy food to your property when you arrive! I recommend!!!
